Releasing the Master Within

sedona method Releasing the Master Within

Still listening to older Levenson tapes about the Sedona Method. An series called “On Sleep and Awakening.”

The recurring point that Levenson makes is that you are untapped potential, all the abilities, power, ease, happiness, joy, talent – all these are already present. You can have these anytime you want.

The only trick is letting go of your own limitations which are keeping these from showing up. He covers that these are all held in the mind, and that to rid yourself of your mind allows all these to show up.

Now, this runs a foul of most of the self-help guru’s out there. But let me tell you of a simple scam which is running: if you don’t want freedom more than you want the world, then you’ll continue to change your mind but wind up back where you started. If you are constantly buying into these various techniques which allow you to “become” successful, or “become” happy – you are just going to have to continue spending your money on these guys.

These don’t work or work to the exact degree they enable you to control and vanquish your own mind.

There is a lot written about meditation, and the extreme practice of spending hours trying to quiet the mind through sheer discipline under the mantra of “don’t think”. Of course, this is much like “try not to think of a pink elephant” and a pink elephant automatically occurs.

Levenson’s Sedona Method allows you to simply release yourself from the effects of the mind and so the mind quiets.

Sure, the mind had its use – and we’ve managed to evolve this far through using it. And it was time for someone to make the breakthrough so we could get off that crutch. Essentially, the mind has become a bad habit and can simply be reformed by replacing that habit with a new one. That new one should be toward developing your own intuitive sense as you continue to quiet the mind.

And intuition is always there, under the surface. You just have to get quiet enough to hear it’s voice.

This is part of letting your own Master to the surface. You are already a Master, and you only have to rise to this state. While many are looking for a one-shot wonder to appear in their lives, you don’t have to wait.

As you continue to release, you will find more and more native abilities showing up. Your life becomes more joyous and happy and successful – because that is the native state you’ve always had within you.

There is a lot more to cover on this, but these simple points will do for now. Release your own Master by releasing continually during the day. And your life gets simpler meanwhile. Happiness and Success are native. Learn to let them come to the surface.

Getting there means turning off the radio on the trip.

sedona method Getting there means turning off the radio on the trip. When I was going to college just a few years ago, I was in class with a younger associate who was astonished that I left the radio off when I traveled between cities across the Midwest. My reason: it gave me time to complete logical chains of thought I had going.

Of course, now I know even better.

Because all that noise just keeps you thinking. It doesn’t help your thinking or figure out how to quit thinking.

Today I threw out (gave away, actually) a 12-hour set of CD’s which cost me nearly a hundred bucks – because that person said in the third recording on the first CD: you can’t do anything about thinking, you can only change what you are thinking.

What a curve-ball.

For the past few days, I’ve been telling you all about Levenson and his Sedona Method. And been telling you how this enables you to quiet your mind and actually quit thinking as the bad habit (addiction, actually) it is.

Another lecture I was listening to today was on wealth building. Yes, that’s kind of a oxymoron all by itself – since your prosperity is already present. Now, he did give a lot of good mechanics on actions you can be informed about to help you with your inspired actions.

But this guy said the same thing many, many people before him said: you have to surround yourself with the tapes that will reinforce and create the world you want. And this is true.

True for those who can’t quit thinking.

I’ve covered this before in other material. It takes about 28 days of listening and re-listening to the same material or set of materials to change a habit. All thought is generally a habit. So if you want to change your mind, you simply change what you are listening to.

You see, most people are effect of the 50-60,000 thoughts that go through their mind in a 24-hour period. They can’t help but think. The breakthrough of the Sedona Method is that it quiets the mind. It allows you to not just think pleasant, joyous thoughts – by regulating your feelings as “The Secret” espouses – but actually to slow down the frequency of thoughts and get them to simply slow way, way down… and then — just stop.

Takes awhile. But you’ve been thinking your whole life, so cut yourself some slack.

Levenson talks on his early tapes that what you are actually doing is getting rid of the mind itself. (As I went over before.)

So why do you need to listen to these tapes? To reinforce your thought processes so that you always “think” in this new habit.

Sure, there is learning new techniques, new ways to accomplish things in this universe. But that is all working at a quite mechanical level, isn’t it.

This new approach is much simpler. If you just keep releasing, you get to the point where Levenson recommended – of simply releasing in order to get things to appear. Now, that is kind of drastic, isn’t it? And you are still going to get inspired action you have to do. Like suddenly calling someone – or turning down a certain street when you are driving somewhere – or stopping to go into a store you haven’t visited before.

Intuitive suggestion – inspiration. Same thing. Quiet your mind and these start coming to you.

Why is it so hard to develop intuition? Because most of use are thinking too hard at it.

Here’s your suggested program to follow:

  • Turn off the TV for most of the day, if not all of it.
  • Quit listening to audio CD’s and recordings – as well as DVD’s.
  • Welcome and release any and all thoughts that come in. If they won’t release and are negative, release on being stuck – then go back and finish releasing them.
  • Truth (true inspired intuition) won’t release, but you’ll recognize it for what it is.
  • Achieve that inner, joyous, profound peace and maintain it. Any thoughts come in, just welcome and release them.

Do this plan for 30 days instead of anything else. Three times a day just purposely sit for awhile, motionless, relaxed – and release any thoughts that come in, quite in addition to releasing through the day as you go.

You’ll find that all the information you had earlier studied now comes to you as you need it. If there’s something foggy about it, some detail, then re-listen or re-read that material again. Often this will come as some sort of inspired idea as to a book or CD/DVD will suddenly come to you for something you should act on. Follow your bliss – act on your inspired intuitional glimpses.

And while there can be “relapses”, just figure that there is a lot of practice you’ve been going at for more years than you know in developing your thinking habit (at least from age 2) – so some additional thoughts coming in can easily be dealt with by welcoming and releasing.

OK? Have fun.

3 good life-habits to replace most of your old ones

sedona method 3 good life habits to replace most of your old ones

You want to get rid of bad mental habits by replacing them with good ones. Means keeping up a line of action for 30 days or so.

The first new habit to acquire is full-time, constant releasing. This is the Sedona Method. Every time an unwanted feeling or attitude or thought comes in, you have to start first accepting it and then letting it go. The bad habit you have is in resisting it or trying to figure it out.

No thought is actually native to you – a person doesn’t think all the time. This is an acquired habit.

Intuition is native and natural. But thinking simply gets in the way of this. As you release, intuitive inspiration won’t. Random thoughts, attitudes, and feelings will.

Joy is also your native state. People are naturally happy and find good in things all around them. So this is another thing that won’t release. Euphoria will, as will excitement. You are looking for a very calm optimism. Unflappable ease at anything that occurs around you.

So you are going to be releasing constantly, anytime you fall away from this inner peace, this unflappable calm, joyous, optimistic state. And you are going to find that your inspirations come more and more frequently. As will your success at everything you do.

A second habit you want to start up is always giving better than expected in terms of what you create and produce. You want to produce abundantly and give better value with all that you do than the receiving person ever would have expected. All your products and services have to be of the utmost quality. If you were building cars, every single one would be a Rolls Royce – the emphasis is on the utmost quality you can produce with every piece of every action you take.

A third habit is open-handed giving. Always finding and giving away stuff which other people can use. You never expect anything in return – you just give and give and give. This is the road to peace within yourself; it helps the persons you deal with to attain their own peace; and all that – paid forward in advance – creates a widening sphere of peace which ultimately takes over this planet and envelopes it. Your internal peace is first, the peace of all you know is next, and then all the people they know, and so on. That’s the simple recipe for world peace.

These three habits will change your life markedly and all those around you. You aren’t trying to understand the world around you – that involves considerable thinking. You’ll get the answers you need as you rely more and more on your intuition. There will be fewer and fewer irrational outbursts, or vindictive attacks, or even critical comments. Because you simply won’t need to. You’ll be at peace and your main goal is to help others around you attain their own peace. Meaning you won’t be fueling any fires around you, but be quietly putting them out through your own calm, joyous giving.

And you will be in demand like nothing you ever saw before. Anything you produce people can trust that you are going to give them far more value than they expected, and that product or service will be the highest quality – like going to buy a piece of coal and getting a diamond (plus a new heater to replace that old one.)

People will trust your advice be cause it is comes from the heart. You give incredibly insightful solutions to any problem someone comes to you with. And when you talk, people will listen because you tend to spend far more time listening to others. Your little corner of this planet becomes calm and prosperous for everyone in it.

If people ask, you simply tell them the three habits you adopted. If they take them up, fine. If not, they’ll still live calmer lives as long as you’re around.

Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?

Start today. Do these three steps each and every waking second of the day.

Your questions:
1. Can I welcome this and let it go?
2. Can I improve on what I am doing right now and make it still better?
3. Is there anything I can give to that person in front of me that they would value and improve their life?

Have fun with this. And leave your comments below so others can learn and be helped.

Welcome to raising grass fed beef cattle and release technique.

What is inspirational and motivational for you?

Tree of Life has many branches

I found myself writing, editing, and publishing self-help books in answer to this simple question.

But this set of pages is more about you than me.  You’ve been around on this planet for awhile and are very valuable. The reason for this site is to help you improve that value.

What you see here is just a tip of an iceberg of the stuff I’ve been working on to uncover and bring back to modern light all the great books and notes which people have used throughout time to improve their lives and the lives around them.

And in the course of this, a great underlying system has emerged. It strings through all these books. All the authors here (and many not represented yet) follow that course and tell their version of that system.

Latest and Emerging Works

I’ve been studying Internet Marketing out of necessity (authors market books, not publishers) and recently have just about wrapped up everything into several neat packages. The working title is the “Sunshine Plan” – because no matter how thick the storm, sunshine always breaks through. Formerly known as the Online Millionaire Plan, this is being revamped and edited for our current economic scene – just so you can make yourself a success and tell people about it.

This is being published under Creative Commons license – so, except for commercial applications, use whatever you want. I’ve posted the full book at Lulu, so you can get paperback or download. Meanwhile, the book is being posted over at it’s blog – I’ll keep fleshing this out as I have time.

Upcoming Releases…

Working on studying the original Levenson Release Technique materials, as this seems to be the underlying key to famous authors such as Charles Haanel, Napoleon Hill, Wallace Wattles, Earl Nightingale, and a host of other Personal Improvement guru’s (alive or passed on.) You’ve seen a few posts on this to the right, but it looks to be a major shift as I incorporate these basics below these other famous authors classic works.

Which means my 10th anniversary edition of Go Thunk Yourself! is now ready to be written. Working title is “Go Thunk Yourself – Revisited.” Now I consider the path taped, the route ready for walking – and guides at every curve to inform you of your options. (Of course, I still have to write this book, and there’s a little more research before I can start that.)

This doesn’t change my concept that there is only one mountain, but many paths to its top – with Levenson added in, we now have the possibility of a certain attainment of personal freedom within a single lifetime, no matter what you chose to study on the way up.

[update] Working title now is “Freedom Is — (period.)” And this book is nearly fleshed out completely and being edited into a final form. Current plans are to release it on Amazon through Lulu.com with online promotion. So it should get quite interesting shortly…

Here’s an article I wrote some time ago, which gives the basic premise this site and what I’ve been working on for so long. I’ve long held that there is a common system of thought below all we’ve encountered and had access to in all this time.

What it leaves is what we do with all of this, and the creations we leave for others as we go…

There’s a whole system out there running your (and everyone else’s) universe…

Of all these self help books, all those self improvement tapes, all the religious dogmas, every ideology, there is a single underlying system which explains how everything works and fits together.

Woooof. That’s one heady statement to make.

But I’ve been working this over for over 8 years now as a steady research and collecting notes the earlier 40-some – on just about everything that crossed my path. So when I say that I’ve been able to boil down the universe into a single system, it just might be plausible.

The basic is back on the farm. Did you know that Nature runs the same, no matter what you believe, or practice, or what party you belong to? True. Plant a seed anywhere on this planet and as long as it has enough sunlight, enough nutrients, and is warm enough to do it’s job – you’ll have a sprouted plant. Keep these conditions long enough and that plant will make seeds so you can make more plants.

Heated greenhouses in Antarctica prove it.

So how do all these religions say they are the only way out and that all others are (whatever)? They are simply running marketing silos, trying to build a monopoly of belief and so finance their buildings and what-not.

That’s a bit cruel, and perhaps steps on everyone’s toes at once. But if you analyze organized religions against marketing data, that’s what falls out. (There is even the modern saw that whatever party wins the election, they both act the same when in office.)

Back up a bit.

All – and I mean all – religions and philosophies contain certain common points. One of these is the “Golden Rule”. Every single historical belief-system we have on this planet has recognized that there is a definite reciprocity on this mud-ball we live on. What ever you do has consequences – and these all come back to haunt or elevate you. Your choice – treat people like manure and you’ll get manure dumped on you. Treat people with respect and you’ll get respect. Be charitable, get charity. Help others, get helped.

On and on and on.

Most nations have outlawed capital punishment – who wants to cast that first stone?

I think that if you looked hard enough, you’d also find some recognition of the Law of Attraction in all these – but it’s a different search. I know it’s been written about in both the New and Old Testaments. And Huna mentions it – which is the oldest-known philosophic system still practiced on this planet.

Of course, this above would then be a complete study all on its own. And I’ll leave that to theologists to study up as part of the postgraduate studies. I’ll keep to the broad strokes.

Let’s just go with this idea that, like Nature, we are all living on this planet under the same rules. We all have bodies which are different hues and shades, but all function the same. There are only so many blood types, and they can all be fixed with varying degrees of success when they get broken.

It is just logical that all these religions, cults, and belief-systems (extremist, moderate, conservative) work because of that underlying common system, not in spite of it.

How would I go about explaining it?

1. Take Napoleon Hill’s “Think and Grow Rich” as the base, and back up to Huna’s 7 principles to explain how this works.
2. Expand to his Law of Success, and widen the scope to include Haanel’s Master Key System, as well as Mental Chemistry.
3. Compare with Science of Getting Rich.
4. Examine the phenomenon of “The Secret”, which is pushing the Law of Attraction.
5. Review Atkinson’s works along this line, as well as Earl Prevette.
6. Back this up through Genevieve Behrend to Thomas Troward.
7. Which then brings us right back to Huna as an overall and underlying base for all modern self help.
8. Then come forward through current religions to show their similarities and posit the point that all religions (and all belief-systems/world-views) depend on a common system of philosophy in order to work at all.
9. Now, the base foundation for a common system could be laid, taking just the key points held in common by all above authors and Huna.

And this is just the beginning. Once you lay out the basic principles, personal techniques could be approached, so that anyone could improve just about anything in their lives (thought being the first point of creation, any system of thought would then enable anything to be created/achieved/acquired).

As well, an approach to world peace is possible. If all war is either economic or ideological in origin, it would be possible to show that everyone would be richer if you allowed free commerce, as well as other human freedoms.

This underlying system does exist. Interestingly, it isn’t a question of proving it, but disproving it… Because it runs on faith for fuel. Faith is based on knowledge and understanding. Those that doubt only limit themselves. The best gains to be had are by thoroughly immersing oneself in the subject. You can’t try out a pair of boots to see if they fit and wear well unless you put them on, first.

And so: Good Hunting!
