How you can’t win them all, and why you shouldn’t try

Hey -- Welcome back!

sedona method How you cant win them all, and why you shouldnt try

While you can and should be willing to help everyone around you – and the Golden Rule says that you almost have to – don’t expect that the world is going to immediately turn right around and give back.

There are people, sad as it seems, who are bound and determined to simply continue destroying everyting and everyone around them in theialong their personal path to self destruction. These are the truly insane among us.

It’s not that they can’t be helped. Or that they can’t get better. Or that they can’t actually resolve to improve their lives and eventually find their own route and way to personal enlightenment. They are simply right now hell-bent on wrecking their own lives, which also then affects how they see and treat people around them.

So you have to be willing to “cut your losses” at some point and move these people off your lines. Actually, they will move off yours if you simply let them. I think I’ve gone over this point before of realizing when you’re fighting something and simply quit that action. Like finding out that you’re beating your head against a wall – the pain is remarkably lessened when you stop.

When I finally saw their view of life, I could understand why they weren’t listening – their view of life was that everyone was out to scam them, so no one was able to be trusted.

They are actually in a state of constant denial of the world around them. They are actually fighting everything that they encounter – ripping people off is their only defense, since the world is out to get them. If there’s a brick wall anywhere near them, they can’t wait to butt their head up against it.

But this is just to tell you that you can get these guys off your lines more easily than you think possible.

Again, the Sedona Method comes to view as a tool. The simple steps I use to continually apply this in my life are

  1. Look over and confront what is in your life – all thoughts and feelings
  2. Accept any part of this (or all of it) that you can.
  3. Simply let it go.

Of course, life gets easier and more delightful as you do this. You enjoy life more and your feelings become more intense. You appreciate things around you much better. Abundance, good health, great relationships – all these become common place when you use the releasing technique.

You want to use Levenson’s Sedona Method continually in your life. And in doing so, you can achieve incredible states of calmness – beyond any meditation – that will take you through anything life has to offer. Ultimately, it can take you into realms most humankind doesn’t get a chance to visit often and where few are able to remain.

But that’s a story for another time.

Right now, simply help everyone you can, even those who don’t want your help. But quit fighting anything and everything. Simply let go of all your “wanting to sort it out” and stuff like that. Invest in everyone around you, but particularly those who want to invest in themselves.

People have to make (or find, actually) their own Peace. Some, sadly, aren’t actually headed anywhere near that direction.

So simply let them go – right out of your life. They aren’t looking for you – they’re looking for people just like them.

But realize that you did make an impression on them, if only slightly.

And be thankful for the true friends you are finding in greater and greater number around you. Because that is what you are attracting with your releasing.

Here’s an interesting tip: That old datum of “the mind doesn’t recognize a negative” gives a new look to things. Read the above (or any speech or article) and remove all the “not’s” – and you’ll see the real world in a different light…

What if there is no mountain?

inspirational What if there is no mountain?I’ve often repeated the old Japanese adage: “There are many paths up the mountain”, often with the Huna: “No one school has all the teachers.”

And of course, if you’ve been following my journey, you’ll note the stuff on Levenson’s Sedona Method. This last seems to be the capstone to my research. As this tends to explain and resolve the others I’ve come across.

Not that my research is done, it’s just that Levenson’s unique perspective on how things are brings new insight to older philsophies and understandings.

But I’m diverging slightly.

The point I was working over with a friend tonight, after he shared Ken Wilber’s video on “I am Big Mind” – it came to the point that “I am” is always present, timeless, outside of time in fact.

So this brings up the topic: You just got to the top of that mountain you and everyone else is climbing.

What do you find out?

Maybe there is no mountain – maybe there never was.

Ask your “guru” that when he tries to sell you that new book, DVD set, or electronic gizmo…

The best-kept secrets are already known by everyone;
the best things in life are free and can’t be bought for any price.

Update: 090906

This might be alarming to some, I don’t mean it that way. What one believes is exactly that – your own thought-system which works for you. There are two ideas here:

  1. That many, many self-help guru’s are pitching hot-air (none listed on this blog)
  2. The very old idea that the world is actually an illusion which we create from moment to moment and keep in front of us.

In the latter case, it is ourselves who are pitching the hot air and need not blame anyone else for the world we live in.

It is that exact scenario I am examining currently.

Levenson’s work has been the most enlightening I’ve seen on this. He is painfully honest on this point – saying in one tape: “I’m using your ego to undo your ego.”

And of course, this isn’t for the faint of heart. However, even if you do take the Matrix blue pill, you really wind up mostly surrounded again by the original environment you sought to escape – because there is no one-shot wonder to take you out of what you’ve created.

I have found, in working this line, that our old stand-bys work wonder to resolve any world-view. The Golden Rule, when utilized as an introspective tool, will markedly change the world around you. Where you are critical toward others, they will become critical toward you. Using the Levenson Sedona Method, as you keep simply releasing your own critical thoughts, all your in-bound critical remarks drop away as well.

The nearest I’ve found to this is in Christian Larson, “The Ideal Made Real”. (This was his bestseller.) In this, he goes beyond the old Hermetic saying, “As above, so below; as within, so without.” And points out that as you create your internal world, so will reflect the external. And to the degree which you simply keep applying Levenson’t Release techniques, this does occur.

I haven’t ever found anything this effective to date in all the spirituality and self-help famous authors I’ve studied.

I wouldn’t go so far to say that this replaces everything – more that it augments and improves everything it is aligned with.

So your mountain is still there – it is now just easier to climb. And what you find at the top is now up to you.

Sedona Method: Most of this Universe is over-thought

Most of this universe is overthought – including this statement.

Similar to that old Star Trek show, where he lies to the computer in order to get it to blow up. Tells it everything he says is a lie, including what he just said.

Was just introduced to the Sedona Method and can see that this revises a great deal of what I’ve covered up to this point. And it also means a substantial revision to “Go Thunk Yourself” book series.

Because the world and universe are much, much simpler than we have been thinking. In fact, this is the first serious exception I’ve taken with Earl Nightingale’s “Strangest Secret” recording. He started this off with quoting Albert Schweitzer, stating the biggest problem in the world is that people simply don’t think.

My conclusion is the opposite: that people think too much – they over-think their solutions to things.

A great deal of money is spent on meditation classes where they teach you to calm the mind and don’t think. For most, this is impossible – and the reason is in that phrase “don’t think.” This actually invites you to think, to think about thinking, think about why you’re thinking about thinking, thinking about how to stop thinking about thinking…. It just is one long rabbit hole.

Wayne Dyer probably had the best solution to this – simply accept the thoughts which show up and let them go. But that resolution is straight out of what is taught in Sedona.

Sedona simply teaches you to just let go of various feelings and mental noise which has been cluttering up your life. That’s really all there is to it. Now, there are many, many applications for this – and they have ongoing classes and seminars which you can attend to simply learn this. Mostly they push a 20-some CD series with all the data you need.

But the free download you can get by signing up with their site actually teaches you the basics and you can work out the rest for yourself if you want.

Most of this stuff on government, taxes, corporate interests, everything in this world it seems – are all over-thought and complicated beyond belief.

The route to unlimited inspiration lies through letting all the noise of this universe drop away and simply listen to the ideas the Universe is bringing you all the time. This means that you can actually attain and have anything you want in life. And the Sedona Method is used by more than half of the original 24 teachers in “The Secret” – so if you recall that phrase from that movie, this is the bottom line to it.

But until you are at peace with yourself, you won’t be able to really find what your passion is in life and what you should be doing with it. And until you can follow your passion (follow your bliss) in life, then the real rewards  you’ve been looking for will continue to slip through your fingers.

Simply – quit over-thinking your own life.

Get the free MP3 download by signing up with the Sedona Method and find out for yourself. You can always delete them if you don’t like them, and unsubscribe from their newsletter. And they only cost you download bandwidth.

I don’t recommend very many products – but this is one of them. It’s working for me. So you deserve to know.
